Collaboration In Inclusion: Individual Learning Plans

APFACTS will be running a series of events next year around Inclusion, with a focus on parental collaboration and engagement in Individual learning plans. ILP’s, PP’s, IEP’s….Different names, different processes, different forms. It can be overwhelming and unclear as to what it all means and how it will actually help.

We will be focussing on building skills for parents to work collaboratively with the school and teachers to shape great working relationships. The ILP should be a living document that is constantly referred back to to track whether desired outcomes and goals are going be reached by the end of the school year.

First up next year is a workshop on preparing for the initial school year meeting. We will be working through a checklist to prepare for this meeting.

All parents who have or potentially have a child with an ILP are welcome and encourage to attend.
